Ballycotton Seafood is a family run company specialising in fishing, processing fish and shellfish for export and food service markets. Established in 1985 the company has grown and we now own boats and a modern processing plant from where we supply fish to our Irish and European customers.
Operating on the shores of East Cork, Ballycotton Seafood sources fish from a combination of our own day boats and trawlers and a mix of small and large boats which land exclusively to the company. Once landed the fish is transported to the company’s plant where fish is graded and processed. Our activities include processing whole fish, filleting, smoking, cooking and freezing.
Fish is exported twice a week to European markets via refrigerated transport. Our wholesale and food service customers are serviced daily using our refrigerated vans and trucks.
