Ballycotton Seafood is a family run business located near the scenic fishing village of Ballycotton on the south coast of Ireland. It was founded in 1985 and has since built a reputation for supplying only the highest quality fish and seafood to customers in Ireland and internationally.
Ballycotton Seafood sources its fish from a combination of company owned day boats and trawlers and from day boats that land exclusively to Ballycotton Seafood, a fleet of 20 boats in total. This combination guarantees quality fresh fish and shellfish.
The company has full control of the supply chain from boat to customer and it also has a fleet of refrigerated vehicles and uses specialist transport companies to deliver fresh and frozen product twice weekly to European markets ensuring produce reaches our customers in optimum condition. Food service deliveries are dispatched daily each morning from the Garryvoe plant.
All our fish and shellfish are graded and packed at our modern processing facility to suit our customer’s needs. Also housed at this location are cold storage units, freezer facilities (IQF), a traditional smoke house where Ballycotton Seafood produces a range of smoked fish including smoked Salmon and Haddock. Our commercial cooking facility, where our artisan oven ready range, Crab and Shrimp are cooked, is also located in this plant. The Ballycotton Seafood plant is fully HACCP and Seafood Protection Agency compliant.
